Regarding the responders’ perspective on COVID-19 preparedness, 62.9%(83/132) felt very well or well prepared. Responders from centers with neonatal and pediatric ECMO availability experienced fewer ICU deaths due to COVID-19 (19% vs 69.2%, p= 0.0007, Figure 1 (a)) and showed more positive responses of preparedness than centers without ECMO availability (93.9% vs 56.5%, p< 0.0001, Figure 1 (b)). Further, responders who have managed more than five patients in ICU (21.6%, 18/83) felt more prepared than those who managed less than that (p= 0.047). COVID-19 is still an on-going pandemic and second waves are striking all over the world. Regardless of the changes in incidence by time, our survey provides information about physicians’ preparedness and perspectives about COVID-19.
